Simplify Client Management with AGM’s Activity Card for Contacts

April 15, 20243 min read

In the artificial grass industry, client relationships are everything.  But keeping track of every touchpoint can feel like herding cats.

Now, imagine having a crystal-clear timeline of every interaction with a client – calls, emails, quotes, the whole history. That's the power of the Activity Card feature on AGM.

What is AGM’s Activity Card Feature?

The Activity Card appears within each contact’s profile on AGM. It's a running log that documents the following:

  • Every point of contact with the client - from initial inquiry to project completion

  • Details of phone calls, including duration and timestamps

  • Emails exchanged, including replies and click-throughs

  • Appointments, including status (e.g., scheduled, completed, cancelled)

  • Notes added by you or your team members

  • Task assignments related to this contact

  • Changes to contact fields like name, phone number, or address

  • Any automated workflows triggered for the contact

Why Use AGM’s Activity Card for Contacts?

The Activity Card offers several benefits for artificial grass installers:

Single-View Data Access

With all interaction data presented in one view, no need to jump between tabs or sift through endless rows on a spreadsheet. Whether it's the date of their last service or conversation details – the essentials are right there on their activity card.

Improved Team Collaboration

The Activity Card keeps everyone on your team in sync with each client. If a client calls in, any team member can pull up their Activity Card and see exactly what was discussed during the last call or visit. It ensures consistent and informed customer service.

Streamlined Sales Process

The Activity Card provides context for your sales pipeline. By tracking all interactions, you can identify patterns and preferences that help tailor your sales pitch. This ultimately results in a more personalized and effective selling approach.

Faster Problem Resolution

If a client has an issue, their Activity Card will likely hold clues for a quick resolution. For instance, if they're having drainage issues, you can see who installed their turf and when, whether similar issues were reported before, etc.

Using the Activity Card on AGM:

Accessing and using the Activity Card is easy. Here's how:

  • Open the Contact's Profile: From your AGM dashboard, navigate to the contact whose activity you want to view.

  • View the Activity Stream: Once you open the contact’s profile, scroll down to find the Activity section. This shows a chronologically ordered list of all interactions with this contact.

  • Add Notes: You can add notes directly to the Activity Card during or after an interaction with the client. This helps to keep track of important details discussed during calls or visits.

  • Filter Activities: Use conversation filters to view specific types of activities – calls, emails, appointments, etc.

  • Export Data: Need to analyze your activities offline? You can easily export data from the Activity Card as a CSV file for further analysis.
