Opportunities on AGM: Quick Breakdown | Artificial Grass Marketing

The Opportunities Tab: Easy Lead & Pipeline Tracking for Artificial Grass Companies

February 26, 20243 min read

Ever feel swamped with all the messages, quotes, visits, and follow-ups you need to track for your leads? AGM’s "Opportunities" feature offers a simple yet powerful solution.

Think of it as a central hub for all your artificial grass leads, tracking each one from the first contact all the way to a signed proposal and completed installation.

What are Opportunities in AGM?

Opportunities on AGM represent each potential lead from initial inquiry to completion.

Imagine each opportunity card as a profile for that client. It contains details like their contact info, property details, quotes provided, notes, tasks, and status in your sales process.

Opportunities in AGM

You can track key details like:

  • Contact information like name, phone number, email

  • Property details like address, size of area for installation

  • Quotes/estimates provided and requests for additional information

  • Notes from conversations and site visits

  • Tasks assigned to follow up on next steps

  • Status in your sales process (e.g. Contacted, Quote Sent, Installing, Completed)

Managing your Pipeline

Managing your Pipeline

All opportunities are organized into a customizable pipeline that represents the typical stages of your sales process. For example, you may have stages like:

  • Prospecting

  • Installation Quote Requested

  • Proposal Sent

  • Proposal Approved

  • Installation Scheduled

  • Installed

  • Completed

AGM can automatically move each lead through your sales funnel via workflows. This way, you can literally see what’s happening to each opportunity at every stage.

Filtering and Sorting Opportunities

Looking for a certain lead or contact? You can easily filter opportunities by options like owner, status, date, and more. This allows you to focus on a certain stage, like following up on outstanding quotes. Opportunities can also be sorted and searched.

Filtering and Sorting Opportunities

Using Fields to Streamline Data Entry

Rather than re-entering the same details for each new opportunity, you can create templates with customizable fields. You can choose which fields you want the Opportunity card to pre-populate when a new lead is added.

Analytics and Reporting

Opportunities make it easy to export data for proposals or analyze pipeline performance over time. This will allow you to answer questions like:

  • How many quotes turn into installs?

  • What’s the average time spent in each stage?

  • Which channel is our top opportunity source?

You can also use the filters here if you’d like to drill down into your opportunities data.

Integration with Other AGM Tools

Opportunities deeply integrate with other AGM features like contacts, tasks, notes, calendar and custom fields for a complete end-to-end view of your artificial grass sales process. You can link opportunities to:

Calendar

Calendar events like site visits or installation dates can be booked directly from opportunities.

Calendar

You can choose to only view available slots, blocking out times that are already booked for other clients. This scheduled event then appears on your calendar integrated into AGM.

Contacts

When creating a new opportunity, you have the option to link it to an existing contact or create a new contact profile at the same time. This automatically populates the opportunity with client details without duplicate data entry.

Notes

All communications like phone calls, emails and messages with the client can be documented as notes attached to the opportunity.

Notes

This keeps a centralized record of all client interactions in one place for future reference or to transfer details if the opportunity is reassigned.

Tasks

Inside each opportunity, you can add tasks related to that client such as "Call client to discuss quote" or "Schedule site visit."

Tasks provide a way to assign follow up actions to yourself or others and track progress over time. For example, marking a task as complete once the site visit occurs.
